Discover AWC is our weekly event for all NEW students planning to register for Fall or Spring semesters and want comprehensive assistance in getting started on their first step into college. Orientation to Advisement and Registration is designed for all incoming students to provide them with the necessary information, resources and advising assistance to help them have a successful start and experience at AWC. Participants will learn about , tips on how to choose classes, ideas on how to build a semester schedule, how to register for classes using Student Planning, an introduction to other digital services like Canvas & TORO Webmail, and other important topics necessary for a successful transition into college. Sessions are available in person at the Yuma Campus, San Luis Campus, and Somerton Campus, ZOOM, and Online via Canvas.
